Prep & After Care

Our time together is valuable! Make sure you are following your aftercare to maintain your treatment results and the health of your brows, lashes, and skin.

  • Stop retinols, chemical exfoliants, and physical exfoliants for 7 days before your wax and do not use for 3 days after you wax.

    Note that you may not get an eyebrow wax while on Accutane or if you have not stopped retinol products.

  • Do not wet the eyelashes or eyebrows for at least 24 hours after the treatment.

    Refrain from wearing eye makeup for 24 hours after treatment.

    Avoid hot baths/showers, saunas, steam rooms, and swimming pools for 24 hours.

    Limit your exposure to steam the full 6 weeks between treatments.

    Avoid touching or rubbing the eye or eyebrow area to prevent irritation.

    Limit exposure to direct sunlight to avoid weakening the perm effect and fading the tint color.

    Avoid chlorine and exfoliative skincare products, as they may shorten the effects of the perm and tints.

    Use aftercare oil on lashes and brows, I recommend Beautiful Brows & Lashes, DUO Brow & Lash InTOXXification.

  • Do not wet the eyelashes or eyebrows for at least 24 hours after the treatment.

    Avoid wearing makeup for 24 hours after treatment.

    Avoid excess touching or rubbing the eye or eyebrow area.

    Limit exposure to direct sunlight to avoid fading the tint color.

    Avoid chlorine and using exfoliative skincare products on the brows, as they may shorten the effects of the tints.

    Optional: Use aftercare oil on lashes and brows, I recommend Beautiful Brows & Lashes DUO Brow & Lash InTOXXification.

  • Let products penetrate - do not wash your face for at least 6 hours.

    Avoid touching your face excessively.

    Avoid excess sun exposure.

    Drink lots of water.

  • Stop all retinoids, exfoliants, and chemicals 7 days before treatment.

    Avoid excess sun exposure and wear a Broad Spectrum SPF at all times (even if you are inside) for 7 days before and after treatment. Reapply SPF every 2-4 hours.

    Keep face clean and free of pet dander, sweat, pollen, dust, and other irritants during peeling process.

    Avoid touching face excessively. No picking or pulling at skin during peeling process.

    Use hydrating and gentle skin care products ONLY for 1 week after peel.
